Ladies there comes a point when appropriate undergarment is a must. In many instances the tiny construction of a thong simply doesn’t cut it. The only thing it cuts into is your ass!! Boy shorts are notorious for taking a hike while V.P.L. (visible panty lines) is an absolute atrocity! We all have fallen victim to the cheeky little things at some point or another, but who has time for underwear drama? With that said, by no means am I dictating that you don’t have the choice to wear whatever you choose to. What I am saying is that you pay attention to the fabrication and fit of your clothing and wear the appropriate undergarment, especially in professional and special occasion settings.
No 1. Summertime and thongs and I don’t mean sandals! Whether you have too much junk in the trunk or noassatall the offense is wrong on all levels (be prepared to dig all day.) It’s not cute and it gives your butt the jiggles. Get over your ass already and invest in the right coverage! Specialty undergarment offers a streamlined silhouette that is seamless, comfortable and helps to keeps things in place.
No 2. The work place! Dress pants, especially Lycra blends can range in price from $50 to over $200. If you’re investing hard earned dollars in work attire don’t skimp on the right undergarment. That’s more offensive than a man in an expensive suit with cheap shoes. V.P.L. can be very offensive so pay close attention to coloring as lighter shade fabrics such as beige, tan, and even gray are thin and don’t carry much weight so pay special attention here . Remember, it’s our work that needs to be seen.
No 3. Out and About! When choosing to wear form fitting clothing always remember fabrication is important. While some fabrics have a great hand to it, they can sometimes be very unforgiving. Cotton blends and satins are sometimes very unkind, however, with the right product underneath you’ll turn heads and keep them talking, and not about your panty lines either!
No. 4 White on White is a huge no no around these parts and a medical myth according to my friend Marcie. Nothing else sends me into fit of rage more than white underwear or white thongs under anything white that we can SEE THROUGH!!!! For crying out loud please, please, please, choose an undergarment that is CLOSEST to your COMPLEXION and seamless. I don’t know anyone that is the color white.
There are many retailers who offer streamlined products that are affordable. Spanx, Commando, and Skinny Britches are more popular brands. Calvin Klein and Victoria’s Secret make their own versions of seamless underwear for less. These are more lightweight and work well with garments that require special coverage. I recently became a fan of Skinny Britches which is very lightweight and really hugs the body. I wore mine under lightweight denim trousers. Wherever you go, whatever you do always represent yourself to the fullest.
Skinny Britches by Spanx
Commando...well worth it
